Letter From Founder
Sickled Life is a new non-profit foundation that was created during my senior year in High School. "Sickled Life" started off as it just being a blood drive for my senior project, but later I realized that I wanted to make it mean a lot more than just a blood drive for one day. The reason I started the "Sickled Life" blood drive was because I wanted to help get blood for the ones suffering from Sickle Cell. Now I want "Sickled Life" to be a major way to influence people on how severe Sickle Cell really is.
"Sickled Life" will eventually be so big that grocery stores, restaurants, and even convenient stores will be asking if "you would like to donate a dollar to the Sickled Life Foundation to help Sickle Cell patients. At this point I am just starting off slow by creating this website, an Instagram page, a Twitter page, and a Facebook page. I strongly encourage everyone reading this to spread the word about Sickle Cell and every single one of the pages.
At this time I am not giving out my name simply because I don't want my name to be famous for this. If I could just get famous for being "Sickled Life" that is all I ask for. The only thing I will say is that I am a 19 year old Sickle Cell patient looking to help all of the ones dealing with Sickle Cell. I have been dealing with Sickle Cell all my life and I know all about Sickle Cell, even all the way down to the Sickle Cell pain. Once again I strongly encourage you to spread the word, and it is greatly appreciated.
From,
The 19 year old "Sickled Life"
